Beforehand I did a walk around the Edogawa River to feel the growing ambiance and met friends randomly. Then I prepared my tripod in one of the highest tower of the area, started eating sushi and… then it was! An illuminated Fuji-san, followed by 4 big bursts of fireworks on its top: that’s the signature of the Edogawa Fireworks.
It’s supposed to be accompanied with music but unfortunately I couldn’t hear anything at all from where I was. I must say that I regret not being part of the crowd and crazy ambiance but I felt lucky to enjoy such a nice view.
I hope you enjoyed my shots! Share your own photos below if you took any 🙂

Hi, they’re so beautiful photos to look at the fireworks in Edogawa… Have you ever been in Yokohama city to watch out the fireworks?
I heard that a fireworks event will be held at Yamashita park, on July 18th, which is the newest fireworks recently in Tokyo and Kanagawa. Then we’ll have a meetup under such a nice great fireworks, if you have any interests on it, feel free to join us! http://www.triphugger.com/2015SummerFireworks0718_en.htm
