Beforehand I did a walk around the Edogawa River to feel the growing ambiance and met friends randomly. Then I prepared my tripod in one of the highest tower of the area, started eating sushi and… then it was! An illuminated Fuji-san, followed by 4 big bursts of fireworks on its top: that’s the signature of the Edogawa Fireworks.
It’s supposed to be accompanied with music but unfortunately I couldn’t hear anything at all from where I was. I must say that I regret not being part of the crowd and crazy ambiance but I felt lucky to enjoy such a nice view.
