Description

Are you interested in using one of my photos for your video, website, or book? Great news! I’ve streamlined the process to make it as simple as possible for you 🙂 Thank you for respecting artists’ work and choosing to license my photos legally.

How to License a Photo

  • Choose Your Photo: Browse my website here or my other websites, my Instagram and download. the image you’d like to use.
  • Purchase the License: Buy the right to use the photo directly here.
  • Confirm Usage: After receiving your purchase confirmation, please reply with a brief email stating which image you’re using, and where you’re using it (e.g., YouTube channel name and URL, website name and URL, book title, etc).
  • Credit the Work: Include a brief mention of “Photo by Jordy Meow” (or something similar) in your video description, credits, or another appropriate place in your project.

What You Need to Know

  • No Watermarks: I’ve removed watermarks from most of my photos for your convenience.
  • Flexible Options: You can request a different photo by replying to the confirmation email.
  • Copyright Protection: I use services to monitor copyright violations. Your email serves as proof of proper licensing, which I check first if any issues arise.

Why Not Free?

Many people ask why these photos aren’t offered for free. Each image represents a significant (enormous!) investment of time, travel, and dedication. Some captures are the result of years of planning or visits to remote, restricted locations – many of which no longer exist. The licensing fee isn’t just a transaction; it’s an appreciation of the effort behind each unique photograph.
